Mom and I went to Nubansuit Lake and Spoonwood Pond. It was a little choppy and a little busy on Nubanusit but we got a chance to see a young eagle sitting on its nest.
Then we kayaked over to a take out place and we carried our kayaks up a short flight of stairs into the Pond.
The pond was good sized. We didn't go far, but we paddled up a bit and then rode the current (slight) and wind back to the small dam.
There was a lot of action on the lake. Boats, kids swimming, lots of paddlers.
