Mirror Lake (#10 Pond)

Finally, a break in the rain. We grabbed Amy's kayak and went to a friends and borrowed his 10' Pungo and headed to #10 Pond in Calais. Here is Sue in Amy's Mirage.









Put in at the boat launch and paddled around this nice small pond. Boats are limited to under 5 mph so it is a nice gentle place to go. Saw some fisherman and a paddler, but that is about all. Some swimmers also. A few small cabins, and a place blocked off for loon nesting, but not a lot of wildlife.









It was nice and calm even though it had been windy earlier so this is a nice place to go for a hour paddle. We put in at 10:30 and pulled out at 11:45am.
